Okay...I have been reading many of the Ebola-related threads. This crap scares me, as I'm sure it scares many of you.
I have seen posts that say this is going to spread due to the administration's incompetence. I have also seen posts that say it will spread due to the desire for the country's destruction by the same administration.
This thread is to find out what you think the outcome is going to be. Martial law? Death on a massive scale? Suspension of elections and/or the Constitution? Will there be a public backlash? Or do you think it's going to fizzle out and things go back to 'normal'?

BO will issue an executive order declaring that the only way Ebola patients can get proper treatment will be by admitting them en mass to the United States. He will disperse them throughout the country as he did the Central American kids with even more deadly results. Somehow it will be the fault of the GOP for not fully funding public medicine.

I think the Feds' meaning of "containment" is to keep the public in the dark about what's going on. I think people are going to start to vanish without explanation, never to be heard from again.Meanwhile, we're going to be told that their swift and expert actions stopped the problem with the first victim.
That strategy will get them through the month and the elections, then after that... well, who cares what happens after that.

At a minimum there will be others infected from exposure to Duncan, many people will be sweating it out for at least 22 days if not longer, high likely hood of some deaths.
All totally unnecessary. Should have banned the flights from the region, implemented screening techniques here, canceled all visas from the region, Ellis Island style quarantine etc.
Any deaths to citizens who have never been to the region are the total fault of the US Government and the transportation companies. Lawyers will be suing everyone they can for exposure/death.

Well, Van Jones on CNN has blamed the budget cuts to the CDC, AKA Republicans. He specifically mentioned Cruz.
I just had this thought...”Enjoy your last month of freedom”... and then saw this thread. Not sure it will pan our...hopefully not but who knows
