Thomas Eric Duncan (Ebola) should be tried and executed for premeditated murder
Stories on Duncan's actions and itinerary | 1 October 2014 | Mene

Posted on 10/01/2014 7:51:35 PM PDT by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

Thomas Eric Duncan should be indicted for premeditated murder, tried and executed. News sources now say this man carried an Ebola-infected relative to and from the hospital (no treatment available for her - sympathy there). He had to know he had been exposed to Ebola and in all likelihood was going to be infected. Yet, he deliberately came to the U.S. to visit relatives, went to the doctor and still did not tell the medical staff there about his exposure and then ended up in the ER around many other people and was diagnosed.

This man is not innocent in this matter. It appears that knowing he was going to be infected and with proper documents and means to get to the U.S. where he could get better treatment, he exposed untold numbers of innocent people to a deadly disease which will probably end up killing many of them and others who try to treat them. He is guilty of premeditated murder to try and save his own life.

Thanks, that’s pretty helpful. Looks like his ticket was purchased about two weeks before he was exposed, with plans presumably being made for some period before that.

I’m not sure how this works, but I would assume his paperwork, such as a visa, would need to have been started much earlier yet. According to this site, it looks like getting a visa would likly take up to three months or more.

they take absolutely no precautions around people that are obviously ghastly ill and infectious.

Given their level of resources, what precautions would you take, oh brilliant one?

There won’t be any need to because shortly he’ll be dead, and don’t plan on hearing about it in the news.

After someone dies, I’d agree.

Doesn’t Ebola cause mental confusion? How could you prove that he had a rational through in his head other than “I must get to my sister?”

After Mr. Duncan came into direct contact with a late stage Ebola victim he had two choices - stay in Liberia and die in a matter of days or skedaddle to Dallas for treatment. He made a rational choice for himself at the expense of the residents of Dallas.

The “system” should prevent this sort of reckless transmission of a deadly disease.

Based on reporting from the NY Times and other sources, Mr. Duncan came in such close contact with a late stage Ebola victim that he knew he was infected and would likely die within days without proper treatment - which is not available in his ghetto.

I agree that calling him a murderer at this stage is unwarranted but he is not an innocent victim. I suspect additional reporting will show his sister may have abetted his actions ... perhaps buying his plane ticket. We just don’t know.

The Feds aren’t being open with the facts. Remain skeptical. I am.

I heard on the radio this morning (WCBM local conservative talk) that his visa, along with 13,000 others for Liberians was approved by the State department despite warning flags not limited to his country of origin (eg, never having been here before)

All that is to say (and the State department’s ineptitude aside) he clearly made plans well in advance of his exposure to come here.

I agree with you. Why haven’t flights been cancelled? If that happened, they would just cross our borders. This is a no win situation.

If you see people all around you dying after just basic contact with other infected people, pretty sure it doesn't take a "brilliant one" to figure out that it isn't wise to be in close proximity to the sick. For that matter, you don't get on a plane and travel halfway across the world knowing that you could be infected and could infect others.

Thomas Eric Duncan
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
He is a TRUE African.
I thought TRUE Africans had names like
Lachiquiataboom,
Deon (spelled DEMON but the ‘M’ be Silent)
Rahimisapoo
etc etc
At least that is what the people who (CLAIM) they are keeping the African ‘culture’ alive are saying for naming their AMERICAN born offspring.

As to CRIMINAL Charges, since the LIBS are wont to charge the gun manufacturer when someone gets shot, the liquor producer, distributor and bartender/club when someone gets drunk etc..

Why shouldn’t we be putting CRIMINAL charges against those DIRECTLY HIRED or (voted in) to secure our borders and make sure crap like this doesn’t happen.

Of course EVERYONE misread BO when he said this exact thing would not happen and YOU people are panicking by stopping flights and screening newcomers.

If this is such a safe procedure, why not cordone off a wing of the White Hut for the exclusive use of Ebola Patients and let the survivors remain there till they get their feet back on the ground.

The pResent occupiers don’t spend that much time there anyway.

(Feet on the Ground)
Guy was behind in his car payments and told the dude that was gonna ‘pop’ his ride that he was turning everything around and would start making payments NEXT WEEK.
The ‘pop guy’ looked at him and said, fine, I would love to help you get back on your feet.
Turn over the keys to the car - I am taking it back.

The Dallas DA disagrees with you. And, so do I. Nice to see the authorities at least considering my point of view for a change.

Really, executing people for becoming sick? Isn’t that harsh and uncalled-for?

Do not appreciate you ever having posted this in light of what is developing. You knew I wanted him prosecuted for exposing people to an almost certainly fatal disease and not for becoming sick and you still posted it. The Dallas DA is considering filing charges AND Liberia wants to prosecute him. Who do you think you're talking to? Do you think I'm so ignorant, redneck Hick with no level of intellect? You owe me an apology. Literally.

Oh, if he lives I agree, arrest and prosecute, I believe tough he may already be dead. I think we are headed into the cover up phase of homeland ebola reporting and these stories are going down the rabbit hole in the short term. To near the election to have bad ebola news affecting the Dems.

Also I may not be as confident in the Dallas authorities as you are after the absolute joke of the decontamination effort and the judge and his assistants entering the contaminated apartment without so much as booties on.

Calling people out for advocating murdering people because they have the misfortune to get sick is something I will never apologize for.

You are as bad as the kook who was recommending turning Africa into a radioactive slag heap to stop Ebola.

I will always maintain that you owe me an apology. That will never change. You misunderstood and did not read my statement at all.
