Thomas Eric Duncan should be indicted for premeditated murder, tried and executed. News sources now say this man carried an Ebola-infected relative to and from the hospital (no treatment available for her - sympathy there). He had to know he had been exposed to Ebola and in all likelihood was going to be infected. Yet, he deliberately came to the U.S. to visit relatives, went to the doctor and still did not tell the medical staff there about his exposure and then ended up in the ER around many other people and was diagnosed.
This man is not innocent in this matter. It appears that knowing he was going to be infected and with proper documents and means to get to the U.S. where he could get better treatment, he exposed untold numbers of innocent people to a deadly disease which will probably end up killing many of them and others who try to treat them. He is guilty of premeditated murder to try and save his own life.
You will have to prove it.
Jumping the gun a little, since he hasn’t killed anyone yet.
Have they made him the Obama “Ebola Czar” yet or are they waiting for him to recover?
Yes. They better do this quickly before some Texan goes after him.
Imagine if a child he exposed at one of those 4 elementary schools, imagine if she dies. Death penalty for him. If he’s not already dead.
Is he a raghead?
U r right.
Common sense at one time would have proved it but not now, not in Obamastan!!
Maybe he wanted medical care in the US.....
stupidity and ignorance?
seems farfetched but maybe
I can't think of another reason to do what he did
Could be. Other reason......biological terrorism. Not helped by the stupidity at the border and hospital.
Shouldn’t Homeland security be responsible for not stoping plane traffic from infected countries, and president obola be held responsible for open borders, in any infected illegals bring it that way?
Really, executing people for becoming sick? Isn’t that harsh and uncalled-for?
Yes, knowing he had been exposed, he wanted care in a US hospital, and lucky US taxpayers, WE get to pay for his multimillion dollar care. They’ve probably had to shut down an entire hospital wing.
Are you planning to execute everyone who carries the flu virus as it is contagious and will kill around 30,000 people in the US within the next year?
Did you even read my post? The proposed indictment, trial and subsequent execution would be for wrongdoing or for becoming sick? Becoming sick is not wrongdoing. Becoming terminally ill with a deadly disease and spreading it to others so they can die is the wrong. If you have tuberculosis, should you be punished? How about if you have Tuberculosis and deliberately cough on or around others? Are you able to see the difference or not?
Liberalism is also analogous to this situation. If you know you have liberal ideas which lead to death and you keep spreading them, you need to be severely punished.
The fact trail is interesting. Duncan transported a woman to and from a Liberian medical facility - while convulsing with Ebola according to the NYT - then departed for the U.S. 4-5 days later. My view is that he either knew he had Ebola and wanted better care in the US or purposely brought Ebola to Texas.
and he didn’t break any laws did he? Obama has not restricted flights from those countries, right?
At this point, attempted murder, maybe.
Not a valid comparison. False logic on your part. What is the mortality rate for influenza? Do you even know? What is the mortality rate for Ebola? If you know you have a disease that will more than likely lead to another's death and you spread it, you are a murderer. If you have a version of the flu which has a .5 to 2% death rate, then going out in public is not wise, but not an obvious infectious process taking place that will assuredly lead to the death of others. Good try.
Will he be around in a month from now anyhow?
Dead man walking, er, oozing.
