Halal means lawful in Arabic and as hand wipes are soaked in alcohol, which is forbidden by the Quran Uh, the Quran forbids the drinking of any alcohol made with grains or grapes. Alcohol made from honey, potatoes, etc. are not forbidden nor is rubbing alcohol.
The sycophants to Islam are even more insane that those that follow the religion.

When they came up with their "halal" policy, they probably went through the place with a fine-toothed comb to get rid of anything they thought might offend the Muslims.
