A KFC member of staff refused a customer a hand-wipe as it might offend muslim people.
The incident happened at a branch in Leicester which is taking part in a ‘halal’ trial.
Halal means ‘lawful’ in Arabic and as hand wipes are soaked in alcohol, which is forbidden by the Quran, KFC in St George’s Retail Park said it could not offer the customer, Graham Noakes, 41, one.
“They told me it might offend other customers,” said Mr Noakes.
“I explained that it wouldn’t affect me. In fact - I told them I like alcohol, so it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.”
He said he was disgusted at being refused and would not be going to KFC again.
He added: “Why shouldn’t I be allowed a wipe for my hands?”
“They use wipes in hospital. What happens when we start being told we can’t have wipes there?”

I heard a news story a couple of years ago about frustrated hospital staff because muslim visitors (usually to OB) refused to use the hand sanitizer that is in all rooms because of the alcohol content. The story just went away with no mention of a resolution. Sigh. Probably hospitals were told to let it go, patient health and safety be damned.

So true. I hurt my hand a few weeks ago. We hardly ever eat out, even fast food we don’t eat. But...because we arrived home late from the ER, he stopped and bought some. It was gross and we pitched it.

Your inference is correct. We WILL see this sort of thing here in America. But it won't be by government order. It will be voluntary, compliance by political correctness.
Mom-and-pop stores might resist, but the big stores will comply. Let one muslum complain about a sign on a door, or the color of a chair (or some such nonsense), and the big stores will comply.

Saudi Arabian perfume is the best in the world. It uses denatured alcohol as its base. Says so right on the bottle.
Uh, the Quran forbids the drinking of any alcohol made with grains or grapes. Alcohol made from honey, potatoes, etc. are not forbidden nor is rubbing alcohol.
