“I don’t like alcohol hand wipes. They’re very drying. But there are places to get hydrogen peroxide hand wipes. Some hospitals are using them, too.”

Hydrogen peroxide is just two alcohols hooked together so it can’t be allowed either.

In chemistry, an alcohol is an organic compound in which the hydroxyl functional group (-O H) is bound to a saturated carbon atom.

No carbon atom in hydrogen peroxide, ergo: per definitionem not an alcohol
