The weekend toll from gun violence in Chicago is five dead and at least 40 wounded, and includes a 13-year-old boy who was fatally shot on a sidewalk in Marquette Park..

Demureye Macon was gunned down in the 6600 block of South Talman Avenue around 8:35 p.m. Sunday, according to Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
