This tech stuff is like an opiate. Thinking about something really unpleasant, don't like thinking about, don't want to think--get on the internet--get lost in a youtube video about some kid who does pranks in his neighborhood or how to do an DIY ombre look cut off jean shorts-look at hot chicks on a beach in Barbados --whatever, it's a reality avoidance tool. It can't be healthy long term, I'd imagine.
