The uproar over President Obama's "Latte Salute" as he exited Marine One Tuesday in New York has reached critical mass with social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook ablaze with indignation and outrage over his disrespectful and half-hearted gesture to the two Marines standing at attention for their Commander-In-Chief.
Interestingly, a YouTube clip from the 1992 film Scent of a Woman has begun to go viral on Facebook.

Of course Obama most likely does not think it’s a courtesy at all. I wonder how he would feel if he stepped off that plane and they were both holding latte’s in their right hand and saluted him. Truth is, that’s about all the courtesy he deserves...
