This was Fisher and Winston throwing double birds to the world. Jimbo should be fired, Jameis should be tossed out of school.

Jameis Winston Is Now Benched For A Full Game For Yelling Lewd Comment In The Middle Of Campus

* Jameis Winston, 20, won the Heisman Trophy while guiding Florida State's football team to a national championship But he has been involved in a number of embarrassing off-field incidents

* The top athlete shouted obscenities in the middle of campus on Tuesday

* He told a press conference that he intended to 'tone it down'

* There was criticism the initial half-game punishment was too light

* He has also been accused of stealing soda from a Burger King and shoplifting crab legs from a Publix supermarket

Betcha, the fact the FSU beat Clemson without him playing will do more to straighten his dumb-ass out then anything else...

Maybe he will realize he's part of a TEAM and it's not all about him...

College football has become a cash cow behemoth.

The very reason for it has become so corrupted that it, literally, is too big to fail.

Those in CFB that protect these players and shield them from any outside criticism and play them in spite of anything they do are despicable vultures that do not deserve to be where they are.

The attitude is trickling down into the high school ranks, now.

This Winston kid is a moron.

He is claimed to be some kind of savant when playing football, but we all know that savants are truly idiots.

He has raped, stolen, assaulted, cheated...I don't know what all, yet is still the hero of Florida.

Disgusting.

Much like that nit wit man-child Cam Newton.

A thief and a cheat, protected by the school for the sole reason that he led them to a championship. Rumor has it that the NFL has a lock on him so tight that he can't even go to the urinal by himself.

I will say, to his credit, he has not been involved in anything else, yet.

But the CFB program is a sad situation, not likely to improve because of the massive amounts of money involved.

I shudder to think of the impact on society that some of these young men/boys will have, when they realize in a few years that their bodies have been used and abused and they are now cast aside.

The problem has always existed, but it is now exacerbated by the obscene amounts of money involved, most of which the young athlete will never see in his pocket.

He should never gotten the Heisman Trophy. Now he is being scrutnized more and more. Just wonder he is at the age whereby family and friends can see if he is schizophrenic or just plain nuts.

"That suspension was later increased to the full game when the school reportedly learned that Winston lied about the full nature of what had happened."

Translation: cellphone audio and video surfaced that refuted Winston's account; and major Seminole football donors made clear that Jimbo Fisher -- fine coach and grand fellow that he may be -- needed to assert control of his team and of Winston.

I was amazed to even see him on the sideline. He should be suspended for that :)

What is the protocol at other schools when a player is suspended. Are they allowed on the field at all? I haven’t paid attention to such before. Lol.

Winston will be lucky to get drafted in the first two rounds. He has Vince Young and DaMarcus Russell written all over him and will likely get a similar Wunderlic score.

There are 5-6 QBs in the PAC-12 that are better pro prospects than Winston.

In the end, Jameis Winston is very close to being suspended for the rest of this season or kicked off the team. A shame, too, because he had the raw skills to be a GREAT quarterback in the NFL, especially he's tall enough to see over most defensive linemen.
