This sounds so ridiculous, I have no idea how to even interpret it. Most people are exposed to sunshine on a daily basis...
I can distantly hear my Psych 101 so-highly-thought of professor: “I know this doesn’t make any sense now, but it’ll all tie together in the end.”
He lied. Somewhat of an education in itself.
Agreed. Useless.
this is so ridiculous....I swear they could fashion a “study” to determine that eating apples causes pregnancy if they wanted.
Mom, it’s the same idea as SSRIs or other antidepressants increasing the risk of suicide in the short term — explanation is that it increases the energy level in otherwise enervated individuals so suicidal ideation becomes manifest as behavior. Well known phenomenon especially in adolescents and teens. The article points out that impulsivity may increase also; a deadly combination for some experiencing a depression-fatigue syndrome.
It is an indisputable fact that every person who commits suicide has at one point or another in his life been exposed to sunlight.
This study shows there is a clear need for government action to prevent this dangerous exposure. People will need to be rounded up and sent to live in caves from the moment of birth. Since there aren’t sufficient naturally occurring caves to handle the current population massively expensive contracts awarded to favored insiders will be necessary to build artificial caves.
Deniers will have to be silenced for encouraging others to eschew the government’s efforts to protect them from sunlight exposure.
