Moms of young kids don’t belong in the military. A country that separates young children from their mothers on military deployments while able-bodied young men sit home and watch ESPN is not a serious country.

I’m fine with the Mom breaking protocol here, and I have no doubt that she loves her child; but we shouldn’t be deploying mothers of very young children. Our enemies rightly feel a primal, visceral contempt for a country that sends young mothers into harm’s way while young men sit at home.
