Isn’t this the same guy who picked on a white girl at the Music Awards or some show? Class act. Can’t wait to see a video of this jerk beating up his wife or girlfriend in an elevator...

Any criticism of his crude, lowlife culture is racist.

A bruised up Kim with a punctured implant. That would be the end of their “marriage.”

Do you think the media will replay this thousands of times, as they would for any normal person?
Why does this individual get special privileges?

In a normal world, Kanye West would be unemployed.

Just goes to prove that genius talent does not equal intelligence.

Some of the replies here resemble a DU thread that would happen if Sarah Palin said something politically incorrect.

I think we can establish the fact that Kanye West and his wife are good examples of lowbrow culture and those at the concert are probably by and large people of low intelligence and/or lacking in education.

However, to beat them up for asking people to stand up and dance, not realizing there were a couple folks in the audience disabled, is something that liberals would do.

Isn't this the same guy who "dissed" POTUS #43 "W" in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina and a few years later "dissed" that young white female singer at some-such music awards ceremony in favor of his pal Beyonce?

I am way past the demographic to keep up with modern music trends. However, I am aware that something has greatly changed within the music industry. Going back to the 1980s, music was still categorized as country, country-western, rock, pop, jazz, disco, MoTown, etc. Those labels seem to have disappeared at the various music awards ceremonies. Black/rap/hip-hop music seems to be dominating the popular culture these days. As the white population in the U.S. continues to shrink, black urban culture and "world" music seem to be taking over. Sort of reminds me of the late 1970s when disco seemed to be taking over. At least it faded from the scene fairly quickly unlike the current music scene.

Why are Australians paying to see this idiot??? How does rap become popular in Australia? I don’t get it, They don’t have the black population and the ghetto culture that rap comes from.

If you do some research on Wikipedia (granted, not the most dependable source in the world) you will find a hip-hop "scene" in virtually every country on the globe. Even Israel has (Jewish) rappers. Needless to say, the Arabs/moslems do too.

Hip-hop and urban culture seems to be very big in Mongolia right now. They have boy bands, too.

Its a low brow plague. Maybe the outsiders and those who like to pose as outsiders are the hip hop artists in Israel and other places. I suppose they also identify with American blacks as being oppressed like they are...in their own minds

They are all down for the struggle....what struggle? Rebels without a clue

I even gave these guys a fair chance on you tube. I listened to JayZee and Kanye West. The music was awful, just thudding beats with stupid words and declarations,

And these guys are worth zillions due to white people buying their toxic sludge. I once told a kid in Walmart -—Why don’t you try the Rolling Stones. He was carrying some cRap CD

No brains and no class. That’s a terrible combination.
Sucks for him that he’s the last person to realize that.

If I paid an obscene sum of money to sit in the front row at this clown's concert, then he can damn well stand up for me. He who pays the piper.

Maybe he should have waded into the audience and tried “laying on hands” to cure the mans disrespect of the black guy!
