The new Batmobile from 'Batman v. Superman' has been fully revealed

Zack Snyder gave us a gritty, black-and-white glimpse of the new Batmobile back in May, and now, thanks to some people on Instagram who happen to be near the shoot, we're now starting to get a good look at the entire vehicle. The new photos show Batman v. Superman's Batmobile parked against the side of the road — where it's clearly a lot bigger than the average car.

Yeah in those "what if" DC/Marvel crossover comics, why doesn't Superman kick Spiderman's ass also?

It's been so long ago, I can't remember whether it was an exciting fight or not.

Superman is SO vastly superior to Batman I don't get how it would be even close.

It's too bad Ben Afflicted is in it.

I might see it one day, not on purpose, though.

Some kid I know told me that Batman defeats Superman. WTF? I don’t watch these movies or read these comics but exactly how does this happen and why, if true?

In the Dark Knight Returns comics, about 1986, Batman hit Superman with all his gadgets, which couldn't hurt him, but distracted Superman long enough for Green Arrow to shoot him with a kryptonite tipped arrow. Batman then beat the crap out of him. This comic book series is so famous that every Batman movie refers back to it in some way.

There have been several versions of this in comics through the years. It normally evolves around Batman having access to kryptonite.

One of the funniest 5 panel cartoons I’ve seen has superman using his heat vision on batman, then he reads a letter to be opened on batmans death which says, just so you know I injected myself with a kryptonite serum so your standing in the mist now, then sups dies. Another has him throwing bats into the sun and with a similar setup the suns rays irradiate sups with kryptonite.

Always fun to be had with mental gymnastics.

Read the graphic novel The Dark a Knight Returns by Frank Miller. Shows you how Batman beats Superman. Also happens to be the best comic book ever written. Came out around 1987

True, and Batman has to use Kryptonite.

I'm no comics scholar, but that's how it went in the Frank Miller "Dark Knight Returns" comics popular when I was in college. Bruce Wayne teamed up with Oliver "Green Arrow" Queen, both armed with kryptonite gadgetry, arrows, etc. to fight Superman to a draw, or better.

You'd think Superman would at least DETECT the kryptonite and decide to back off and use heat vision, cold breath, etc.

I always liked Green Arrow, because he didn't have superpowers. Just cool specially designed bows.

In the 70s there was a Green Lantern/Green Arrow series. BTW, WHY would Batman and Superman have a beef with each other in the first place?

They were "Superfriends" and in the JLA.
