3-4 jumbo eggs and with s good portion of sausage, ham, or ground beef patty for breakfast.

For dinner, it's normally some form of beef, chicken, pork along with a low carb veggie or salad with blue cheese or ranch dressing. Blue cheese is my favorite and it has zero carbs.

I treat myself to a sugar-free pudding cup, a low fat yogurt container, or a serving of sugar-free Blue Bell ice cream every day.

Once you are on it for 3-4 days, you will be amazed that you rarely ever feel hungry between meals.

The main thing for most people is to avoid white flour, sugar, bread, white potatoes, pasta, high carb fruits and veggies (corn is the absolute worst). Need to avoid fried snack foods because of the corn, potatoes and other high carb ingredients. If you do that, most people pretty much don't have to worry about counting carbs

I also cook up at 4-6 pound pork loin once a week. Cook it to the proper temp using only salt and a bit of pepper for seasoning. When it's done, cut off what you want for dinner and immediately wrap the rest in aluminum foil. If you need a snack, cut off a slice or two. If you wrap it in foil, it stays unbelievably moist for a week.

I love meat, eggs and cheese, so it hasn't been nearly as hard as I thought.

I do miss pizza, but it occurred to me today that I can simple put some pasta sauce in a ceramic casserole dish, top it with sliced mozzarella cheese and pizza toppings, then bake or microwave it until the cheese is melted. After all, the toppings are the best part. Next to no carbs.

I always liked making salads with things that usually need bread. Pizza, BLT, and Philly steak make great salads. I even like cooking the meat, veggies and cheese together and then letting it cool a little before putting on top of the lettuce. I like ice berg and romaine.

I like making my own dressing so I can choose what is in it and what oil I use. I avoid soy as much as possible and most bottled has soy oil.
Seasoned rice vinegar is a good dressing. I like the roasted garlic. I think it has 5 carbs but a little goes a long way. I don’t even need to add anything else.

Spaghetti (vegetable) squash is a good substitute for noodles and sauce tastes fairly good with it. Or just butter and salt is good.
