I find Jewish culture to be very liberal. I live in Miami, where we have a large Jewish community. They are also very diverse.
Israeli’s are VERY cool people. Most have lived in numerous nations/cities and speak several languages. The ones I knew had a lot of admirable qualities. They were also very liberal for my standards.
I had an Israeli boyfriend. He told me Israeli’s think American Jews are whimpy, whiney, and spoiled. Israeli’s are tough. A lot seemed to be involved in borderline crooked businesses. Imagine 20 something year old kids with the original 900# phone sex call centers? Eeew. The people on phones pretending to be beautiful, were disgusting. Maybe it was just that one group of Israeli’s. Bad apples in every group.
They were also very traditional. Friday night amazing dinners, started with reading in the Torah in hebrew, with the entire family is beautiful. I’m Catholic, so I love the traditions expressing a respect to God. That is where it seemed to end.
I was taught boundaries, right and wrong, don’t do unto others...., The ONLY problem they seemed to find offensive to God was when I cut the Salami with the same knife as the cheese.
That freaked him out. Call me crazy, but I just don’t get that. I liked my boundaries even then, and even if I broke them, I liked that they were there, it made me feel safe.
I think many Jews have gone the way of many “christians” whoare very worldly and perhaps more culturally Jewish, than spiritually.
Perhaps IS is the Babylonian punishment all over again. Sickening!
We’ve got enemies outside the U.S. who will blow away 3/4 of the entire population if they get the chance (nuclear war). Then there’s the question as to when some infiltrating terrorist pulls some crap on us. Then we’ve got the movement which we are talking about that keeps adding enemies on its list. Lord help us all, because I have a bad feeling that chaos may hit at some point.
Very likely, what’s sad is how societies let themselves decay to make the hurt from ISIS even worse.
That is one miserable looking bunch of people. Really don’t understand why they are called gay.
Wondering if it’s like it is here....that they would have you believe that this group is a large segment of the population when it really is not. Just wondering.
Won’t be much longer as Orthodox Jews are increasing in number.
I completely support Israel's right to exist and think the "Palestinian state" is called Jordan, but Israel's internal governing policies glorifying abortion-on-demand and the gay lifestyle is why I do NOT "stand with Israel" and I have a hard time believing that God "chooses them" as his favored people when they behave like this. Worse, these policies are occurring under a supposedly "conservative" government. If I was President, I'd give Netanyahu an earful about it.

It is not that the left hates Israel, but rather that they hate Christians and know that the destruction of Israel will in the end destroy Christians all over the world.
The irony is that the Jews in Israel today are working rapidly to destroy Israel by making peace with the Palestinians, when instead they should remove them for the West Bank and Gaza and are now welcoming Sodomy with open arms in Tel Aviv.
Those in control of Israel have little regard for Christians, Orthodox Jews Hassidic Jews and Ultra Orthodox Jews.
This is one reason that Israel will go through the Great Tribulation.
