She came through surgery A-OK.
In good spirits.
Tired, full of morphine.
Many calls today, constant visitors since 3 o’clock.

She has much to live for. That’s always good medicine.

The main reason there is an allegation that cats sleep 19 hours a day is because the day is only 24 hours, and one must have num-nums even to sleep.
If the day were sixty hours in duration, no one would be saying that cats sleep nineteen hours a day.

My sleep was interrupted by a nap, but then I went back to sleep.
It's morning here.
I lost 5#.
I don't think it's too noticeable...

But that makes almost 20 total!
I’ve been to the gym with some children. Next I’m going to Jamie’s to take her some Cub Scout stuff, and she will trim my hair again.

Yes, it does. I have 25 more to go before I can go on Maintenance, but I will make it. The hypoglycemia is the culprit, but since I began using a “dab” of protein with each helping of fruits or veggies, the sugar lows aren’t noticeable. I am so GLAD!
Now if I can just keep it up...two more months to go...I hope I make it because I don’t want to pay for the diet after the first three months! LOL!

I’ve always been lucky in that, whenever my metabolism gets a boost, it runs away with the numbers. It was a source of chagrin, back in the day when Busdaddy was still in the army. He had to jog for an hour to keep his BMI down and I just did a fast walk for the same time.
Now, he is really working out for almost 1.5 hours, trying to lose the weight. I could walk for 30 minutes and still lose something.
As soon as I get some decent walking shoes, I will head for the park and follow the trail back here about once or twice a week. It should be enough.

My shoes are a couple years old, but since I’m exercising mainly on the elliptical trainer, they’re okay. If I ever run on the road again, I’ll need new shoes.
