After the dystopian/end of the world genre runs its course what will take its place?I'd like a dystopian beginning of the world genre, where a bunch of people who didn't like society today, live through an Apocolypse, and then try to build a new civilization, realizing it isn't that easy.

The real end, which won't be a genre. EOE end of times.
But The Strain is holding up rather well, and it has moved to zombie/Vampires now, if you were curious.
