If you like your propaganda, you can keep your propaganda . . . which will only keep the “exempt” elite class alive—maybe.

“which will only keep the “exempt” elite class alive”

No, there will be plenty of money for things liberals love - like abortion, money for people that willingly used drugs, people that want to change sex, etc, etc, etc.

The only ones that are really screwed are the folks that were dumb enough to work and pay taxes all their lives, and now have committed the unpardonable sin of getting old.

If employer-provided health plans were replaced with private, voluntary arrangements, transportable across state and international boundaries then that would be a good thing. Little Zekey Mengele, though, has in mind a centrally planned, leftist controlled, politically driven, corruption riddled, culling operation designed to carry out Bill Ayers’ extermination plans.

“Most people who work for an employer and get their coverage through an employer do not have choice.”

Really? I can’t choose another employer? I can’t buy insurance on the open market if I don’t like what my employer provides?

what the hell is the idiot that wrote this talking about?

Does he believe for ONE SECOND that if employers stop offering healthcare that they will pass those savings along to their employees in the form of higher wages?

ROFL

Anyone who loses their employer health coverage will just have to pay for Obamacare out of their old salary. Which means millions of Americans will take a pay cut.

THANKS OBAMA!

There will be “plenty of money” until the foreign lenders cut us off.

Zeke Emanuel is the modern version of Dr. Mengele

Who said that? Zeke Emanuel? That’s Rahm’s older brother, steeped just as deeply in liberalism (a fellow at CAP) and a big proponent of voucher-based “universal” healthcare. He apparently opposes legalizing euthanasia—for now.

You’re correct, this is propaganda. That being said, employer provided health coverage should have never been invented. It came about as a way to get around wage controls during WWII.

Free market solutions could easily solve this problem if the FedGov could get cronyism out of the mix and do something that’s actually good for the citizens for a change.

Unlimited tax free health savings accounts that are portable and transferable to heirs. Allow employers to pay into these accounts. Back that up with a catastrophic coverage plan and remove state by state restrictions to create more competition. Most prices would drop like a rock.

For folks on Medicare/Medicaid/VA a hybrid version of the above paid into by the .gov agency providing the benefits.

I’ll believe it when the public employees of America give up their employer provided health coverage and go on ObamaCare.

I currently have an approximate $7K non taxed benefit. So, if this goes away, not only will I not see a fraction of that 7K, any part of it which I do see will go right to my 1040 as additional income.

When that happens, I will have to consider my options and I don’t think the government or my employer who is a member of the chamber will like what will happen when a bunch of us come to the same decision.

Zeke is full of it.
Here’s an idea...no one exempt from obamcare or able to pay for private care should have any input or decision making authority regarding healthcare for the masses.
Zeke and the rest of the academic morons have no clue what is best for my circumstances.

It has been my opinion since I read about Romneycare before there was Obamacare, that the purpose is to push all private insurers out of the health insurance market, leaving only the government.

Employers might do that, pass the savings in not having a group plan on to their employees, but it will not be nearly enough for them to get anywhere near the same coverage on their own.

“Most people who work for an employer and get their coverage through an employer do not have choice.” …

1. That's a lie. Employees at a great many companies can choose their HMO or healthcare provider easily.

2. Why would an employee, whose company pays 90% of health care costs, choose to pay for the outrageously expensive Obama Care plans?

I think that Katherine Rodriguez's broad brush does not include Fortune 100 or even Fortune 500 comapanies.

This zealot Emannuel is lying. It won’t take 10 years and the number of employer plans will be down to zero. Giving a 10 year figure is a sop to keep people calm and pacified.

This is what they planned from the beginning—a nationalized health service run by the government.

Our repeal of Obamacare actually needs to play off this change and offer individuals the same tax benefit a business gets....pre-tax expense. Decoupling insurance from a job is part of the correct decision and essentially eliminates the primary driver of pre-existing conditions. If one loses their job right now, they may not be able to get coverage. If it is paid personally, that’s not an issue.

This leftist yolk’l has it all wrong though. Obamacare does not offer choice. It reduces choice because the government has regulated choice out of the decision. You can now choose between this high cost, high deductible plan...or you can choose that high cost, high deductible plan over there. Some choice. I just checked and my insurance has tripled since 2011. Where’s my $2500 a year savings.
