But if you are determined, spend some time at Alibaba.com and look for products to import. Government will hate you for avoiding their domestic union-made crap and not doing your fair share to fund Democrat re-election campaigns. But stick with it. There may still be profitable opportunities.

It’s corrupt as hell. A friend of mine imports scooters from Italy and that’s all mainstream stuff. His stuff “goes missing” at ports all the time. Money seems to find things all the time.
