The perp's picture is illustrative (loser without a soul). I'm surprised he only has a black eye and a throat wound.
He will serve 50 years minimum. "The U.S. Supreme Court ruled two years ago that mandatory life sentences for defendants younger than 18 are unconstitutional."
Odds are he'll leave prison the same way Jeffrey Dahmer did.
Being at the bottom of the barrel in prison is not a lot of fun.
Is he related to Attorney General?
Damn shame, that. He needs a dirt nap.

What part of the Constitution?
No. And since he killed and raped a white child, there will be no Sharpton visit.
She was a little angel - I kind of wish I hadn’t looked up her picture.
I can hear Bubba now “love my white boy but he sure do squeal alot”.
Cruel and unusual punishment, maybe? But I thought that only applied to humans....
Rapes and kills 6 year old, sets home on fire, tries to kill cop - isn’t HE cruel and unusual? Let the punishment fit the crime.
It says minimum of 50 years. I imagine people will still be as horrified by his existence 50 years from now as they are today. SO he had 18 years of freedom and THAT’s what he did with it.
What part of the Constitution?

MILLER v. ALABAMA Opinion of the Court
___ (2010) (slip op., at 17, 23), and runs afoul of our cases requirement of individualized
sentencing for defendantsfacing the most serious penalties. We therefore hold that mandatory
life without parole for those under the age of 18 at the time of their crimes violates the
Eighth Amendments prohibition on cruel and unusual punishments.

I’d like to shoot this POS through the face with an RPG.
What if you sentenced him to 300 years. With any luck, they’ll find the right medical tech to let him live longer, so that he can live through the sentence.
I would like to give him the Pulp Fiction medieval treatment, not for the faint of heart, but pretty brutal for rapists in general. Lucky you didn’t get to see Marsellus’ gang get their full business done, because it didn’t sound pretty.
A lot of idiots apply a far too broad scope towards the interpretation of the “cruel and unusual punishment” clause. The Founding Fathers would disagree; for example, the Crimes Act of 1790 called for public floggings, and mandated dissection of the corpses of convicted murderers.
I doubt the Founding Fathers would protest hanging this degenerate in the town square by his dreadlocks, lighting his body on fire, giving him a lobotomy, chopping off his limbs and genitalia, and pelting him with stones and gunfire until he dies.
After looking at his picture, who says dope isn’t harmful.
If Eric Holder had a son.....
I agree with the constitutional prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment. However I also believe that justice delayed is justice denied. Within a month after his plea or conviction, a bullet to the back of his head. Cremate the remains so he is purged from this world.
I hope one of her relatives is still alive when he gets out.
Cruel and unusual was aimed at the British method of execution and incarceration.
