I have pulled socks and shoes, and pennies and plastic and paper towels out of the puppy's mouth so many times. That I now have a policy that nothing should be left out where she can get to it. Unless it's a dog toy. She has destroyed most toys. Her Kong is the only toy she has not completely demolished.
The Kong may well be the best dog toy ever produced.
I have one that has lasted with a "Cujo" mixed breed, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, two chihuahuas, and one Pit Bull.
Plus being run over by my 54 inch cut mower on a regular basis.
Well worth the money I spent on it several years ago.
Puppies, like human babies, will put all sorts of stuff in their mouths, but this dog was 3 years old.
At that age, my now 14 year old lab was eating drywall. Not edges and corners, but in the middle of the wall. How, I still don't know.
