Several people in my area have noted that their pets are acting weird. The behavior usually amounts to staring out windows and doors whining and shivering and hiding under tables and other furniture etc. .
Or if they are outside they badly want inside even though they never do much any other time.
They also keep tails tucked and sort of slink around like they are in distress.
This is not one or two people but my count has over 20 different households within a ten mile radius that have pets acting in the same way for about 3 days now.
My dog can not seem to settle down and wants to be as close as he can get to me and the Missus. Some thought it is the festival in town but it just set up Yesterday and the behavior has been going on longer than that. And we had no such behavior last year reported.
We are all at a loss and the local vet has no idea but he tells us dogs and cats can sense stuff humans can't.
I remember that August cool front, it made it all the way to the Gulf. Dropped our temps down to about 92. :)

I remember that Art Bell show too. It was in the mid to late 1990’s IIRC. I really miss him on the radio. George Noory is OK, but he is no Art Bell. I know there have been small tremors to the north of me in the Youngstown, OH and Hermitage, PA area. I live a bit south from there, in a small Ohio town near Wheeling.

All quiet here in Tiltonsville, OH, on the Ohio River near Wheeling. I have two cats, both grey and whites, male and female, Spunky she is 14 and Rascal is 7. I moved from near Pittsburgh and it did take them a while to adjust.

I’ve been thinking about the cats I’ve had. Years ago, I had a broken engagement, and spent a week crying and eating ice cream. Kitty didn’t leave my side. After about a week kitty went into the bath tub, started meowing and wouldn’t stop until I turned the water on. She was, I believe telling me to take a shower and get back to the world of the living.
I really think my cats were miracles in fur.
Got a question, are you anywhere near Dayton-Wright-Patterson? Maybe with all the saber rattling going on overseas the military could be doing STUFF to get ready?
Well I’m here in Florida to and my squirrels are gone? At least seven of nine. Poof.....
Some pets are earthquake warners and some are time warners.
