Odd that you would ask that. My dog Bailee (older golden retriever) is very afraid of thunderstorms and she hides under my desk when they occur. Last night she tried to hide under the desk with no thunderstorm - I asked her what she was afraid of but she wouldn’t tell :-) Normally she barks if it’s something going on outside.
N Oregon, and we have a dandy subduction zone? Black helicopters? Who knows?

Could they be concerned that Zero has no plan?

was a cool spell that came down from Canada and was most unusual for August, in the South.

My Boxer acted like that once. I found out he had eaten Chicken Little. He was OK after he digested him and left him in a large pile in the front yard.

Ditter, did have to bump the A/C up to 80oF that night of mention but earlier in the week was pleasant for August. Been back to muggy and hot ever since that last night of windows open on Sunday night after dark since. Was a nice break for a few days and about six nights.

The quake of 1812 (which was actually a series of 7.0 to 7.5 quakes over a couple days) was felt as far away as New York, so I think it’s possible it could have agitated a few church bells in Boston.

My kitty in Maryland for the past 2 months has been
afraid...
Going in or out he jumps over the threshold of the door.
It’s scarry because he’s a very smart little dude...

That is weird mentioning squirrels. I don’t have pets anymore except about nine Nazi squirrels and idiot that I am I feed them. Its been a couple of weeks and am down to two squirrels. One is the badass who sits in the pile of food and dares the rest to come near. He has tats, smokes, rides Harley, you know the works. Anyway he (large cajones) and the other little guy (Tyrion) they are all that is left of my squirrel empire. When someone figures out what the hell is going on please let me know. Something else, we have dumbass neighbor with four dogs, one especially is missing brain cells I am certain, dog barks every breath, at falling leaves, the wind, her own hair, real loser dog and not one bark in awhile. Weird like now I am getting freaked out. Time to get out the old baby monitors and eat some fruit I guess.

.....melatonin should be taken in microgram doses. 2 or 3 micrograms is plenty. The gram doses being sold and taken are much too high. Your body never, naturally, produced anywhere near that amount.
Overdoses will produce intense dreams....sometimes headaches.
BTW animals cannot tolerate human drugs....could easily kill them. Consult a vet.
