St. Louis Rams rookie defense lineman Ethan Westbrooks made the final 53-man roster on Saturday, beating out Michael Sam for one of the team's final spots...
Westbrooks told ESPN's Nick Wagoner that he got a tattoo below his eye in 2011 because he never wanted to get a normal job again. Making it in the NFL would be the only way to prevent him from becoming "a guy that has a tattoo on his face looking for another job." ...

Warren Sapp was undrafted. Sapp was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft going #12 overall.

For most of us, that would be a great job, but hes likely to have it for a short period. I doubt hell be set for life.If he does not blow it on broads and bling he can set himself up by putting money down on well located multi-family housing. He can have it managed for a fee and expect a reasonable income and tax benefits from depreciation allowance; if things go south for him he always has a place to move in to.
The big bucks players should do the same, but with well located apartment buildings.
Full disclosure: Yes, I am a licensed real estate broker.

Hes not a long term planner. Is he going to be in the NFL forever? Probably a few years, maybe ten tops. He's a third string free agent. Even assuming he doesn't get injured the average career for a defensive lineman is 3.5 years. He'll be looking for a real job before then.
To: circlecity
He was an undrafted rookie free agent and he beat out Sam. That tells you how impressed the Rams were with Sam. The Rams gave Sam a fair opportunity to make the team. He couldn't. Sam has nobody to blame but himself for that.
