Stephen Lee, a beloved “Seinfeld” actor, died in his Los Angeles apartment of a sudden heart attack. “Seinfeld” actor Lee died two weeks ago, according to his friend actress Lisa Pescia.

Lee’s sudden and unexpected death is touching the hearts of many fans who remember him as the inquisitive contractor who installed new kitchen cabinets in Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment...

Thanks! My memory failed me. My husband saw him years ago in a one man show about Nixon and thought he was brilliant. But Bookman will live forever!

He was a bit part character actor who was somewhat recognizable, but success had eluded him. I remember him in an episode of night court where he played an arrogant diplomat and also in the very first episode of everybody loves raymond as “Leo”, the best friend of raymond. Amazingly he never was brought back for anymore episodes. It was his only appearance in the series.

I’ll bet it bothered him to watch that series take off and become the success it did. And hes the one, the best friend of the title character, who isnt brought back after the first episode. He mustve felt like Pete Best, the beatles first drummer whom they replaced with ringo.
