Where, oh where, is the planet's missing heat?
In 1999, the feverish rise in Earth's surface temperatures suddenly slowed, even as greenhouse gas emissions escalated. This unexpected slowdown has been called a global warming hiatus or global warming pause. Most climate scientists don't think this hiatus means global warming went kaput, but the reason (or reasons) for the slowdown has scientists flummoxed. Researchers have offered more than two dozen ideas to explain the missing heat.

Tis a puzzlement. It couldn’t be the models, so it has to be something wrong with the real world.
Here on the east coast we’ve had the coolest summer I can remember, and last winter one of the coldest/worst. It literally snowed every week. Global warming my ASS. This is exactly why the economic terrorists changed it to “climate change” because now they can say cold weather is a result of CO2 or some other gas. It’s just one huge scam to steal peoples money.
I predict this winter is going to be much worse.

I have been watching the temperature of Lake Superior this summer. It never fully recovered from last winter, and looks to be peaking in temperature now. It is about what it would be temperature wise in mid October. If it is as cold this winter, it could freeze over a month or even two ahead of when it did last year. I would think this would cause a colder fall in the Great Lakes region, as there is less heat stored in the lakes to radiate away in the fall, moderating the temperature.

Isn’t this story an example of the exact opposite of what scientific research is supposed to be about?
These “scientists” aren’t looking for facts and then building a theory around what they find. They are building a theory and then going out and searching for facts to support it. When a set of facts runs counter to their theory, they desperately search for facts to counter the bad facts. Ergo, the search in the oceans for the Great White Whale of “missing heat.”
Its pathetic. Its why science isn’t going to advance for the rest of my lifetime.
Warmists need to give us a number. Any number.
If the earth hasn’t ‘warmed’ in 20 years will they call this scare story off? Or fifty years? Or maybe a hundred years? Tell us. Tell us when this ‘The World is Ending’ hysteria can end and the new bullsh*t one can start...
