I have been watching the temperature of Lake Superior this summer. It never fully recovered from last winter, and looks to be peaking in temperature now. It is about what it would be temperature wise in mid October. If it is as cold this winter, it could freeze over a month or even two ahead of when it did last year. I would think this would cause a colder fall in the Great Lakes region, as there is less heat stored in the lakes to radiate away in the fall, moderating the temperature.
What you just said makes a 100x more sense than all the junk coming from the climatologists in all their high-powered academic studies.
Now that is an interesting fact. stuff like that makes my little contribution to FR worth it.
As the cold winds blow south forming the trough, there is no help from the great lakes. That means at a minimum some decrease in the temps as it flows south to us.
Brrr!
