Starting non shooters with a .22 is best. Then if shotgun a .410.

That it was elicited by shooting a gun in a controlled environment shows her inability to correctly assess situations outside her “comfort zone” which she is hell bent on occupying.
Such people believe they not only have a “right” to be free from fear, they believe their fear demonstrates an offensive act by whatever scared them.
For shotgunning, the Benelli Cordoba or Supersport in 20 gauge is a fantastic choice. I’ve gotten many folks hooked on sporting clays with mine.
For rifle, a Winchester 67 is my favorite for new/young shooters (single shot, pull back the striker).
Pistol is a Sig Trailside with a red-dot.

I have a friend who is so frightened of guns that she can’t even stand to look at one laying on a table. In her case I can understand where Her fear comes from. She was born in Holland in 1941, the Germans had just taken over and she witnessed things at the age of 2 to 4 years old that most of us have never seen.
I was raised in a gun toting family and learned at that same age to respect guns but not to fear them.
I didn't watch the vid. Too busy hijacking free listens of music at youtube, at the moment, but if she thinks shooting a gun is stressful, then just wait she tries being shot at.
