Cecil always reminded me of Mr. Ed. Sounds just like him.

Top Cat was good too, along with the Flintstones.

Wiley Coyote and The Roadrunner! ;-)

Exact parody of the Arab-Israeli conflict. I've often taught it that way to my high school classes.

I saw an interview with the creators of Rocky and Bullwinkle several years back. They were a husband-wife team that retired from Hollywood as animators and writers. They did the cartoon as a retirement project just to have fun. They did all of the voices as well.

What does Boris Badenov mean? Badenov = Bad Enough

Yes, but the name was chosen as a backward play on the name, Boris Godunov ("Good Enough), immortalized as an opera by Mussourgsky about a czar of the same name. Lots of plays on words here, as was the case in almost every sentence uttered in the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. Sheer genius.

the following youtube isn’t the best quality but it’s worth a look if you have never seen it.

Ralph E. Wolf and Sam Sheepdog!
Especially at starting and quitting time.
++++++

Note: Ralph E. Wolf may have been the original Road Runner?
Drawn the same?

Wave motion gun.

I like Buffcode and Beaver. The recent revival wasn’t so good.

This Jonny Quest documentary is very good (part 1 of 3). It's a thumbnail history of Hanna-Barbera as well, and really all of television animation of the early 1960s.
