I have no reason to go there-the prices at Whole Foods are already high-and since I live over 50 miles from the nearest one, add some gas for my 4x4 to the price.

I follow a natural lifestyle-no processed food, avoid GMO foods, no drugs, only homeopathic remedies-yes I do keep aspirin, too. I know the vegetables I grow are non-GMO, and I can buy grass fed/free range meat and chicken at the locker plant or the grocery store in the nearest town, 20 miles away. There are several companies online that offer organic flour and other grains, and a family owned natural grain mill 100 miles from here. It is all cheaper than Whole Foods, and not in a snooty liberal neighborhood, like they are...

Have you seen the price of arugula there?

Their Icelandic Sirius 70% dark chocolate is worth a trip to the store for me. I buy several bars each time I go. Nothing else in the store is worth what they charge for it.

“All attached to vehicles with MSRPs not less than $60,000 I’ve noticed. “

Indeed, and around Colorado a preponderance of big, heavy, NEW, gas-guzzling SUVs.

No need to go to extremes or expensive fads.
But that's what the loony-left will DEMAND that you do ... just because they refuse to believe they're wrong.

Try some ChocoLove bars sometime, which can be had almost anywhere. Made with Belgium chocolate, and lots of options. Not THE best chocolate in the world, but damn good, and excellent for the price.

OMG! The price of arugula has skyrocketed, you say at Whole Foods? Whatever will I do now? BTW, what is arugula ...

I've set foot in a Whole Foods once...about 20 years ago with a friend.I was stunned to see $10/lb chicken back then.I've never set foot in one since partially for political reasons (far too many “think globally, act locally” bumper stickers on Volvos and Range Rovers) and partially financial (I refuse to pay even $10 for a pound of chicken, let alone what they're charging today).

I fricking HATE Whole Foods. Not the store itself or even their absurdly high prices, but the denizens who frequent it. At least the one in Boulder, anyway. A nauseous mix of CU Profs, CU Profs’ wives, rich CU students, gov workers from the many gov labs in Boulder, gov workers’ wives, assorted hippies, and other “Progressive” scum.

There’s no place there for anyone who isn’t rich, beautiful and/or young. Heaven help you if you’re older and don’t look and act like some stoner hippie. Regular folk draw stares and scowls. The scum can HAVE the Whole Foods in Boulder as far as I’m concerned, but I’ll never step foot in the place again.

They just opened some Sprouts here in the metro Atlanta area and they are sort of like Trader Joes without the two buck chuck. Their prices are mega better than Whole Foods.

The author does not like the fact that they stock homeopathic remedies as well. This fellow does not appear to be a great fan of free choice in general.

Homeopathy is bunk. But free choice must remain free choice!

Shows you how much (little) I know. I thought Sprouts was strictly a Texas chain.

Good info, though, for when I do my road trips. It's a challenge to stay on the Fuhrman regimen, more so when produce isn't as fresh as it should be.

You should see the crowd at the Cambridge Massachusetts Whole Foods.

Would that be Prospect Street, River Street, or Fresh Pond?

The one at Fresh Pond, at least, has a Trader Joe's right across the street. That way you can buy your unusual cheeses at WFM and everything else at TJ's. All in a trip.
