If you don't do exactly what the cops say, they can kill you. If you don't do what feral citizens want, they can get away with whatever they want.

We used to be a nation of laws. Those laws were EQUALLY APPLIED and offered little protection for those who did wrong, even if they were a rich man, a politician, or a police officer. That is no longer the case. We have consistently applied different standards to different people and that is resulting in people taking into their own hands, the "justice" that should be served by the law.

Corruption, across the board, regardless of political party, is what is killing this nation. Period.

“We used to be a nation of laws. “

Very true. I have no faith in laws being equally applied in the United States today. The entire legal system has been corrupted by big money and politicized.

In addition, due to the outrageously high cost structure, only the poor represented by government paid attorneys, and the wealthy can afford to be in the court system. God help a middle class citizen mistakenly charged with a crime or sued by a neighbor. By the time he goes through the system it won’t matter if he wins or loses. He’ll be financially destitute.

Finally, the jury system no longer works. Most citizens, educated in the public school system, are incapable of objective thought. They make decisions based on emotions, racial solidarity, perceptions shaped by political correctness, or media stereotypes. When I sat on a jury, none of the other jurors wanted to rationally review the facts. Instead their preconceived notions of “fairness” were all they wanted to talk about. I came away from the experience knowing I never wanted to be judged by a “jury of my peers”. Peers they are not. The alternative, an arbitrary ruling by a far left judge appointed by life and not accountable to anyone isn’t very appealing either.
