Show me another format that works better.

On FR you could ping friends if you had any.

Show me another site that makes it so simple, ya pimple!

All of you old geezers can stay. I’m moving on.

Well, bye.

Sorry you don't like Free Republic anymore.

I can’t post a selfie on tweeter from FR because there’s no iPud app.

How can I have a life if I can’t post a selfie!

I’m leaving FR forever!

1993 technology, hmm, zmodem? I barely remember any longer. The HTML pages were largely text, and indices were the number one busiest sites. The local BBS scene here was still dying out, with the last gasp being multi-line boards (those phone lines were expensive too) some of which offered internet email gateways. Come to think of it, that was probably even earlier than 1993. :’) By 1993 I’d been on dialup for about ten years, and would continue until broadband became available around here perhaps five years later. Maybe six.

Wait, the Mercury browser refreshes on a two finger tap. Sorry, I’m going over to the News forum. I’m posting this here for my twit followers, mostly because I don’t post my every bodily function on twitter.

” Either that or you have a parasite in your eyeball”

yes if I had a parasite on my eyeball I would most likely be a “Green Land Shark”. And I assure you I am not. Cold is something I hate.
Look it up if you need reference to the parasite they have on their eyeballs.
To do that, with windows 95 you will need to go to a Search Engine and then type Green Land Shark Eyeball parasite.
They are gross beasties for sure.
Probably another reason I would never do a polar bear plunge swimming event. To look up Polar Bear plung with windows ME...
