Who cares. As long as my coffee tastes the same and gives me the boost I need ... who cares. I have yet to hear of anyone dying from any “dirt” in their coffee.

Who cares. As long as my coffee tastes the same and gives me the boost I need ... who cares. I have yet to hear of anyone dying from any dirt in their coffee. If wood is used then there's a possibility it was treated wood, which probably won't be doing anything good for your health.

If everyone ate a spoonful of dirt every day, they would live longer and be healthier.
‘A glob of dirt a day keeps the Doctor away’ never really caught on, so we ended up believing apples would help. (which they would, if you ate the worm).
