If you wish to read about a bit of clarity that preceded the Sovereign Citizen movement, you need to do a bit of research on a few items rather than the instant derision of some biased perspectives here.

Just a few points, since I am in a bit of a hurry now:

First, the founders never intended for there to be an “income tax”. It was only begun to help with the costs of the war(s) that followed and the statesmen that enacted it scoffed at it ever rising above a ridiculous rate such as say, 2%, and that only for the most wealthy.

Second, you need to read the history books more closely concerning the events surrounding the Civil War, and look up the term “Sine Die”, and the true legality of our current governmental system.

Finally, you need to research articles where the “sovereign citizens” have WON their court battles. How could they have won if there was no justification for it?

Where you accept a ‘License’ of any sort rather than the God-given rights acknowledged in our Constitution of the United States, you are surrendering that right to The State -to your detriment and their legal establishment of mastery over you to your slavery. Once you surrender your rights, you voluntarily submit to bondage to The State, and they have the right to tax you and pass laws upon you as they see fit.

Do a bit of research, but also know that if you follow the reasoning and decide to aspire to be a fellow “sovereign citizen”, LEOs and the majority of the populace who have no problem surrendering what is rightfully theirs to The State will be after you for everything possible.

Cheers.

There are no “sovereign citizens”.

There are sovereigns and there are citizens.

a “citizen” is: a member of a political body who owes allegiance to the government and gets protection in return.

Sovereign citizens are no threat to you. The Federal govt feels threatened because they subscribe to the Constitution pre 14th amendment. They basically want the govt to butt out of their business. They refuse to go before a magistrate which most people don’t know is totally legal. You always have the right to demand a jury trial. Even for a traffic ticket.

The sovereign citizen movement is kind of complicated and you should google it and read up on it.
