When Kerry was Lt Gov he would go around trying to bang young female reporters. He was pretty ham handed about it. My wife, a young female reporter the time was hit on, but she backed off. Another friend of hers jumped (so to speak) on the opportunity. Did him right in the back of a limo at the Chicopee exit of the Turnpike.

I wouldn’t have supposed that even his most ardent supporters and friends considered him smart.... Just useful and simpatico in their disdain for the nation and the ‘little people’.
The default position is that leftists are smart. It’s something people say while giving their brains a complete rest, like the following:

Low information voters are supposed to believe that the liberal is ALWAYS the smartest person in the room and conservatives are dumber than rocks.
Kerry’s transcript, released well after his 2004 defeat, exposed the lie repeated over and over during the campaign that he was smart.
I have seen him in the Senate. He is not an intellect. In fact his lack of intelligence is amazing.

That’s why so many “conservatives” insist that they believe “Obama” was “born in the U.S.,” or that “he loves this country,” or “Obama is a Christian,” “Obama is a citizen.”
There is absolutely no evidence for any of these assertions, but they are the “correct” things to believe, or you’re a kook.
