Quinn and Rose are off the air, and we await word that they are returning soon. (Stand by) Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
Snap!
Good morning!
Can’t sleep?
Here are a few radio trade paper links. They are usually pretty boring. Nothing I could find about Q&R.
Nothing really new here. Chilly has a short reprieve. Maybe until the 6th or longer.
Did you get my ping?

Finally you probably have seen this, it’s not new but mrs p6 and I enjoyed it over the weekend.

Back to work...sigh.
Small update on WJAS. Just learned that both Bogut and Chilly will not be in today. They decided that last Friday would be their last air shift. End of an era.
ooo...things are getting interesting. Not confirmed but supposedly WJAS is leaving our building (that is confirmed) and will be broadcasting from the WDVE building. That is the same building Q&R were in with WPGB...
Target is still Aug 6th.
Mornin everybuddy!
LOL
Morning A.M!
Our parsley is turning brown. Not sure why. Almost never have that problem. Might be the cold weather we’ve had.
Blight??
Last night I fixed a mess of garden fresh Chinese Long Green beans... MMMmmmm
We don’t think it’s blight. Maybe I dropped syrup from the hummingbird feeder into it but it wouldn’t have been much.
Son In Law just gave us a bunch of his green beans. We’ll be doing something with them soon.
Good morning n’@! Everyone!
Ebola, the water situation in Toledo, OH, and it’s just. Monday. What fresh horrors will this week bring?!?
Congrats on the beans! Sounds like (as always, AM,) Your garden is growing beautifully!
Did you see the weatherbell Saturday forecast? Sometimes Joe confuses me but it seemed like he was saying that after a cold start there would be slightly warmer weather through November.
Ate garden fresh broccoli Saturday for lunch... been years since growing any.. MMmmmmm
Morning!
I went to bed just after I posted. Was up awhile before that. I still feel groggy!
I didn’t get the ping. Going to check it out now! Too bad about Bogut and Chilly. I always remember listening to Bogut when I was taking drivers Ed in high school. Our DE instructor always had the car radio on to KDKA in the mornings. I always got a kick out of “keno tata”!
OH My Gosh! Loved the HOw to Speak Pitturghese video! LOL!!!! I’ve moved from there long ago so I lost most of that, but it still pops up now and again. That 60 miles makes a difference.
God bless Pittsburgh. (Even it is IS a mostly democrat city!)
Figured they would blame water on fracing...
How can I get his forecast? Thought it was pay to see? Whats playing on WJAS now?
Radioinsight has the Country rumor!!
Our garden was looking pretty good, but with the deer eating the corn and squash, and now the groundhog re-discovered our snow peas, things are not so hot. I covered the sweet potatoes and boc choy with netting and that seems to have kept it away.
Checked out the Boyer Orchards website (New Paris, Pa) for peaches. We go there every year for our canning peaches. The -10 degree weather we had means no peaches from there this year. Have to see if we can get peaches at a roadside stand. Probably going to be more expensive.
