Nigerian health authorities raced to stop the spread of Ebola on Saturday after a man sick with one of the world’s deadliest diseases brought it by plane to Lagos, Africa’s largest city with 21 million people.
The fact that the traveler from Liberia could board an international flight also raised new fears that other passengers could take the disease beyond Africa due to weak inspection of passengers and the fact Ebola’s symptoms are similar to other diseases.
Officials in the country of Togo, where the sick man’s flight had a stopover, also went on high alert after learning that Ebola could possibly have spread to a fifth country.
Screening people as they enter the country may help slow the spread of the disease, but it is no guarantee Ebola won’t travel by airplane, according to Dr. Lance Plyler, who heads Ebola medical efforts in Liberia for aid organization Samaritan’s Purse.
“Unfortunately the initial signs of Ebola imitate other diseases, like malaria or typhoid,” he said.

But you’re right, if we were more honest about the homosexual epicenter and bathhouse culture spreading the diseases, and fought the homosexual revolution then, we’d have had far fewer deaths.
But they made it a mainstream STD, describing it as equally dangerous to heterosexuals and glamorizing people who got it from blood transfusions as the normal patient, instead of admitting it was overwhelmingly gay men and people were closest to (including their girlfriends and addicts they shared needles with).
I heard on the radio today that the American doctor who was treating Ebola patients in Africa was living with his wife and children.
His wife and children have flown home to the United States, according to the radio news. I hope they waited for the incubation period to pass before they came here.
They said the doctor is from Fort Worth.

The majority of HIV infections are with gay men, drug abusers or people who have sex with either of those categories. Or people who have contact with those people.

Yeah, I'd like to see it remade with a big budget. I could see Sheen in that role. But holy cow...if King let them do to "The Stand" what was done to the TV version of "Under The Dome"... *shudder*
