Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said in a phone interview with Alaska Dispatch News on Tuesday that she plans to speak out against oil company-funded efforts to maintain the oil tax structure put in place in January.
I dont want Alaskans to be deceived, she said.

Article seems to have a lot of detail. The newspaper appears to have initially contacted Palin for a comment about her speeding ticket yesterday, but this seems to be much more involved.
Good read.
She got a ticket! oh no she’s certainly not qualified to be POTUS. /s
The article states the voters will be able to decide the issue in August.
Curious as to the ads running in Alaska NOW until that vote. I’d bet the oil companies are throwing millions of dollars in BS at this one.
I got a ticket in the same speed trap. It cost me $ 300.00.
She explained the speeding ticket as, “I wasn’t speeding, I was qualifying.”
The Unions are throwing millions of dollars at this also.
Ah yes. But of course. Thanks for that.
At least Sarah drives!
obama and Hillary never have not driven in decades!
obama always wanted to be chauffeured around.

Here's the great thing about this issue-remember this photo of all the Alaska democrats with the Obama '08 signs everyone here at FR hated? Those democrats are the ones now supporting Palin's ACES. Even the state's private sector unions are against a return to Palin's ACES. Not the public sector unions though, and that should tell you a lot. ACES was a pure populist "windfall profits" tax structure, and it drove oil company investment from the state. It deserved to die.
And I thought ADN was banned from FR.
I think it was excerpt only. And it’s not a McClatchy rag anymore, if that makes a difference. Alaska Dispatch bought them out.
