If she was coming in across our southern international border they would have waved her on through.

What a shame. Here we have a hardworking, law-abiding young mother. No one was hurt. She was honest. And now she’s facing three years?!

Meanwhile, so many criminals that are real and dangerous walk free. I wonder if the people who robbed her were ever caught.

That idiot prosecutor should never have charged this.

Now, the lady who was robbed twice is about to be raped by the state.

I don’t know in my CCW class we talked a lot about reciprocity and making sure you know the laws where you’re going. And we were in big ol’ AZ with other states multiple hours drive away. I understand it can be tough when you’re dealing with back east states that so often have stupid gun laws, but that’s just more reason to be more careful.

you ever seen the traffic in that area? It is too easy to miss an exit and end up in New Jersey. This lady is going to do three years for missing an exit.

Forget prison, I doubt this will happen. She will be spending at least $20 thousand on lawyers (my guess)

Unsafe lane change. Improper left turn. Failure to signal. Seat belt law. All designed to give them a reason to pull everybody over.

You people demanded safety and you got the nanny State in all it’s glory.

Everybody must be stopped periodically and have their name run through the data base.

Gotta be smart. And she didn’t get pulled over for missing an exit. It’s unfortunate, and certainly shouldn’t face 3 years. But that’s the region, another good reason not to live there.

I always thought there was this thing called the Full Faith and Credit Clause. I guess that right is only for homosexuals, not for gun owners.

Article IV, Section 1:

Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. And the Congress may by general laws prescribe the manner in which such acts, records, and proceedings shall be proved, and the effect thereof.[5]

A good point. I have not heard this clause mentioned for years!

Not unlike the US Marine in Mexico, and this is inside the country.
They should both at most get a warning and nothing else.
People get less than three years for serious offenses.
After all they did not threaten anyone and had no plans to do so.

I got stuck on the brige to Canada by accident once and could not turn around due to construction. I was stuck in customs for about an hour while they searched my car with dogs and the whole bit. They couldn’t grasp that I didn’t have any passport or documentation and that I was there because the traffic was horrendous thanks to road construction in Detroit and they were quite threatening about it actually. I hate Canada as much as Jersey to be honest. Friends to the north my Arse.

full faith and credit clause. She was granted the right in Pennsylvania. Every other state is required to recognize that right.

True dat. I got stopped in nj several years ago for speeding and the cop axed if I had any weapons in my vehicle, and I told him no.

My S&W 38 was my business and it is legal in PA but not nj and I wasn't going to do time for turning myself in.

I always carry {except when going into places that have metal detectors}, therefore I avoid airports, gummint buildings, schools and any business that posts no gun signs.
