WASHINGTON The fever-swamp fantasy coursing through conservative America — that Barack Obama one day soon will be frog-marched out of office for "high crimes and misdemeanours" — is proving astonishingly resilient.

Obama’s spending decisions are guaranteed to keep the US in this economic depression. Ruining the economy is only one of his goals.

I haven’t heard anyone say they actually believes “Barack Obama one day soon will be frog-marched out of office”. Anyone who thinks he will be hasn’t been paying attention to the Democrat Party for the last 20 years. Impeaching him would probably be politically costly to Pubs as well. The only reason to do it is because it’s the right thing to do when a president willfully violates his oath of office. And the GOP-e isn’t about to do anything they view as politically unpopular just because it’s the right thing to do.

Gotta love Sarah, she's doubling down and upping the rhetoric.

Again, proving she's more man than anyone in Washington.

People always say that it was costly for the Republicans to impeach Clinton. How So?

Exactly correct. And if Clinton would have been removed by the Senate after being impeached by the House, we would have been saddled with Al Gore for 8 years. As it was, we still almost were saddled with Al Gore, as he refused to concede and dragged the country through a month of uncertainty.

As Hussein has shown us all it takes is a phone and a pen and we can turn things around tomorrow.
