I've read the Bible enough to know that if someone had killed one of King David's wives, David would have hunted them with a spear and impaled them to a wall. Then he would have written a Psalm about it. God would have blessed him the next spring with a bumper harvest. My point being-- these two losers should be fried. There's nothing wrong with getting angry about things- being passionate. People need to feel a little heat.
I forgive you. But only God can forgive sins. I’ll leave that up to him.
If I was the prosecutor, I’d tell the cops to do a bit more investigation based on those comments.
Just trying to share the wealth, man. You know, at some point, you have enough. Besides, you didn’t build this! It does take a village, right?
They chased him to kill him, over a burglary.
“Kauffman was able to dial 911 to report shots fired as he fled the house.
Officers who arrived on the scene a short time later discovered Kauffman with a gunshot wound to the back of the head in his car, which crashed in the woods near a cornfield. The rear window was shot out.”
R.I.P. Marcus Kauffman. Condolences to his family, his friends.
I’m quite sure that those two pieces of (purportedly human) garbage are going to be feeling a lot more than just a little heat.
Put the feral scum 6’ deep.
IOW, they chased down a fleeing man and killed him.
If the wife would rather forgive than carry the hate, she is right to do so, and the state is right to put the two subhuman mutts to death.
There is absolutely nothing Christian about this kind of forgiveness. Se can do it if she wishes, that’s her right. But nothing in Scripture supports it unless the two thugs truly repent and ask her for it.
Ok. Don’t hate them. Just do your duty and make sure they meet justice.
You seem to be reacting quite disgustedly against a Christian who is following both the precepts and the example of Jesus. I never considered Jesus barf-worthy.
I myself have every wish that these two scumbags ask and are given God's forgiveness. I hope they spend eternity in Heaven.
I'd also damn well hang them.

There should not be confusion between forgiveness and clemency. Forgiveness is within the heart of someone who has been trespassed against; it is their way of liberating themselves from hatred against those who trespassed against them; as well as hoping that those who trespassed will themselves seek salvation.
Clemency should only be given to those who were denied fair justice and judgment. It does not come from the victim, nor should the victim be allowed to mitigate the punishment. For the reason that this trial, conviction and sentences were not done by the victims, but the state acting on their behalf.
While a person was murdered, this was an offense against the state. So it is the state that gives justice and judgment. And it is the state that decides if clemency is warranted.
I watch a lot of ID TV and some of the victim’s families say that the Bible says to forgive the murderers and so they shouldn’t receive the death sentence. I don’t understand that; to me, you can forgive someone of a horrible crime but that doesn’t mean they don’t have to pay.
Please quit posting material from Daily Mail in the main forum. It’s mostly tabloid crap that belongs in chat.
I remember this case.
What this woman says makes a good example of why the state, representing all the people, prosecutes crime - not just the individuals affected.
I doubt Jesus has had to forgive this woman for shooting a man in the back.
And I most certainly agree that there can be NO forgiveness without repentance. The love of God isn’t some big “get out of jail free” card.
It’s appropriate to forgive them, then execute them.
forgiveness is one thing, Making sure these folks never kill again is a responsibility.
