Maybe they should be equipped with some kind of running lights so that when they are spinning they can be more readily seen.Yeah. All that noise they make isn't enough warning.

Well I think that’s the point — if the sound of the propellers was warning enough and directional enough then this would never have happened.
But as the article said:
“Moving propellers are loud but you don’t really see them — You can look at them and stare right through them.”
