I’ve been seeing where y’all are getting all kinds of rains, out in W Texas. I have friends in El Paso, that I’m praying for...not to wash away!

But, it is so nice for that area to be getting some much needed rain. Grateful for God’s favor and blessings, indeed!

I read about it in the papers and see it on the weather reports. Odessa has had a heavy rain or two. Midland is 20 or so miles to the east of Odessa, Midland got maybe a quarter of an inch and Big Spring which is about 30 or so miles to the east of Midland also had some heavy rain.

Midland has barely had rain this year. Maybe 1-2 inches all together. Severe drought of years. A 100 miles southish they have had floods. Midland has A MAJOR PROBLEM, AND HAVE BOUGHT WATER RIGHTS AND LAID PIPELINES FROM AREA 50-70 MILES AWAY.

MANY OF US CATCH SHOWER WATER AND OTHER USED WATER AND TAKE IT OUT FOR OUR SHRUBS/TREES/. currently we can water 2 hours on 2 different days, late evening or night to save trees, etc. Dead trees are all over town.

This was taken about 5 years ago and seeing these butterflies was an awesome experience.

I wait for water as the day goes by.
If sunlight dies, then so will I.
I am not much you see,
A simple flower I'm yet to be.
I watch the time fly by

I can not move you see,
