This is a product where absolutely nothing will go wrong, we're sure.

Trying to sneak booze is an American past time. Well, not THE American past time -- but now there's a way for you to sneak alcohol easily into your favorite sporting event! Heck, you don't even need to use a syrup bottle.

Just a little between your cheek and gum...

No officer, I have not been drinking....

Something new for Miley to snort...

I'll sprinkle some on my Wheaties in the morning to cure the hangover.

These are essentially Capri Suns for adults. A large, booze-filled pouch designed to turn every trip to Chuck E. Cheese into a party. This isn’t some pie-in-the-sky, wacky idea. This stuff has been approved!

It’s important to note that the powder can be used in drinks OR on food. So, who other than Spilly would be interested in this marvelous monstrosity? Palcohol has the answers.

2. Maybe you’re a college football fan. So many stadiums don’t even serve alcohol. What’s that about; watching football without drinking?! That’s almost criminal. Bring Palcohol in and enjoy the game.

Please keep this away from Tennessee Volunteers fans.

7. Let’s talk about the elephant in the room....snorting Palcohol. Yes, you can snort it. And you’ll get drunk almost instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed so quickly in your nose. Good idea? No. It will mess you up. Use Palcohol responsibly.

Ethanol is a very simple molecule, and is in liquid form at normal temperatures. I do not see how it could be powdered unless it is adsorbed onto some kind of powder.

Yeah, and I wonder if it would purify water so you wouldn't have to filter it.

From Wikipedia:

Alcohol powder is molecular encapsulated alcohol. The powder will produce an alcoholic drink when mixed with water.

According to food chemist Udo Pollmer of the European Institute of Food and Nutrition Sciences in Munich, alcohol can be absorbed in cyclodextrines, a sugar derivate. In this way, encapsuled in small capsules, the fluid can be handled as a powder. The cyclodextrines can absorb an estimated 60 percent of their own weight in alcohol.[1] A US patent has been registered for the process as early as 1974

Well, it *is* clever. But I’m thinking the Shot Pak is just as easy to conceal, and probably tastes a whole lot better.

Plus, their um, “mascot” is kinda easy on the eyes...

Anyone here old enough to remember Lik-M-Ade? Little paper packets of flavors like lime, lemon, orange, cherry, etc. They only cost a couple of cents per pack waaay back then.

We kids would just tear off a corner or the top and sprinkle a little into our mouths, where saliva would dissolve the powder and make it a liquid drink/swallow.

I can easily see such an application for alcoholic powders.
