Beautiful place... I keep thinking it's either the wilds of Alaska, Canada, or some deserted isle in the Pacific if things keep getting worse here in the lower 56... ;)
Very Beautiful indeed. We were in Eagle River, between Anchorage and Palmer/Wasilla.
Tough place to grow old and unsteady on your feet. Too many slopes with icy conditions for up to 8 months a year.
