Very Beautiful indeed. We were in Eagle River, between Anchorage and Palmer/Wasilla.
Tough place to grow old and unsteady on your feet. Too many slopes with icy conditions for up to 8 months a year.
I know Eagle River very well. Some of my favorite restaurants where there. ;) I filleted a large number of Salmon and King Salmon in the backyard of my friend’s house there, which we would catch out of Willow Creek, up the road toward Denali.
