"Draft Day" focuses on the Cleveland Browns and places Kevin Costner in the lead role as Sonny Weaver, Jr., the general manager of the organization. As the 2014 NFL Draft approaches, Weaver must decide what to do with the teams draft picks to get the most value and whether or not to make a trade that would cause them to move up or down in the draft. The audience follows the team up until the draft, experiences the draft itself, and is led all the way to the first game of the season. The film walks the audience through trades, contracts, salary caps and the like with actual sports personalities, like Roger Goodell, Deion Sanders, Chris Berman, Mel Kiper, and Jon Gruden, and real life sports organizations, teams, and cities, combined with made up professional athletes, "Draft Day" moves through most of the important parts of the offseason and draft process as the fate and future of the Browns are left in Weavers hands.

What Fountain of Youth is Costner sipping from? The guy hasn’t aged since he was in freaking Bull Durham.
Our little local freebie newspaper gave it a very good review after knocking some of Costner’s previous performances.
.
I liked Costner in his last film, “Three Days” or something.
This one looks ok. Going up against “Godzilla” though.
Godzilla looks good but it isn’t out for another month.
This sounds stupid and boring. Why the Browns anyway?
Watching Paint Dry sounds more entertaining.
You gotta see Costner (and Bill Paxton) in “Hatfields and McCoys” on Netflix. Just a great series.
Lol
I am a draftnik from way back. I have no idea why. It is totally out of character. I love the draft and always imagined what it must be like to be a GM in the NFL. I will -along with 3 other people in the country- watch this movie. I am incredulous this got made.
He is drinking from the same Fountain of Youth SO MANY Hollyweird types drink from:
1. plastic surgeon fountain
2. good hair-good teeth fountain
3. mighty make-up maven fountain to hide wrinkles
4. wardrobe wizard fountain for clothes to
a. emphasize the GOOD
b. de-emphasize the BAD
c. hide or eliminate the UGLY.
I guess EASTWOOD has permanently retired. It's a shame but he contributed enough!
The staying thin, slender NOT fat is probably the toughest thing of all. I am SURE that the director avoids the following:
--the chins and belly profiles
--lighting that BRINGS OUT the dark circles and BAGS of age below the eyes
--any thin hair and/or bald spot that may catch the studio lighting
--brown spots on his hands, neck and arms that also may catch the studio lighting.
==============================
That was fun.
I've always liked Costner and he is usually in good movies so I might see it.
They need help.
GO Browns!
I liked him as Jonathan Kent in Man Of Steel.
