Of course she will. But now she's positioned to run for a house seat from a liberal district in Texas. This was never about winning the governorship. It was about building a resume and a fundraising base outside the state.

Writing from Murrysville. This incident does not fit any of the scenarios people are comfortable with.

The student was a white 15 year old sophmore. People have reported 16, but the police say 15. He came to school with two kitchen knives which showed premeditation. Before home room began he went on a stabbing rampage (not slashing). This is when children are most vulnerable because of the normal "chaos" taking place in the hallways before home room.

The incident took minutes and the student was brought down by another student, vice-prinicipal and LEO. Before that another student was injured blocking the rampaging student from attacking a girl. That same student had the presence to pull the fire alarm.

The student who committed the stabings came from an intact two parent home in a nice neighborhood. His family is well respected by neighbors. He seemed normal to all the students that knew him and not a loner.

The police orignally said that bullying was not a motive. The student was transported later to a hospital for treatment of hand wounds. There are no guards on kitchen knives which explains this.

The first responders were fantastic and got everyone injured immediately to trauma centers. We were lucky to have nice weather today (bad winter) so Life Flights were not hindered. Four of the students are listed in critical condition at two local hospitals.
