I should take a picture and share, in west Longmont, they have put up concrete barriers in the middle of the road, secured them to the road and filled in between them with crazy foam. They are worrying what is going to happen with this snow melt.

And they have finally started digging out the St. Vrain in that area, it was six feet deep with gravel washed out of some retention ponds just west of there.

They just fixed one of the wash outs north of us. County Road 1 southeast of Longmont is still unrepaired.

I should take pics of all of their public walkways too (the greenway), that water picked up all of those sidewalks and moved them like they were paper.

This is how badly the creek cut the roads lower in the canyon where all of the runoff came together. In all I estimate about 6 miles of the highway, several homes and many cars were washed away. I had to use my Toyota 4Runner on logging roads to get out for a long time.  photo UteDriveCoalCreekCayon_zps240cb758.jpg
